Laser Cutting of your steel parts by the pound!
$1.25/pound - minimum order of $35.00 + shipping with a good .dxf or .dwg!
At one of our last sales meetings, we had an idea ... How about if we put our extra Laser Cutting capacity on EBay, better yet - how about if we do this all by the pound saving a lot of time in quoting and negotiation? So here is our auction on Ebay - and what we are selling is steel that is laser cut, up to 60" x 120" and 3/4" thick and you pay by the pound. It couldn't be easier, or priced better than this folks!
What's the catch? There are none. We have extra capacity that we are able to sell at a discount and want to establish long term supply relationships with new customers. So for $1.25 we will take your .dxf, or .dwg, or solidworks file and cut from 1 to a million parts on our fully automated laser system.
This auction is in no way an attempt to sell outside of EBay. A separate auction will be held for your goods.
What if I don't have a .dwg, or .dxf? We charge a flat $35/hour to take any sketch and turn it into a nestable file for cutting. This ends the fine print.
What if I need the steel formed in a press brake? We can accomodate you on this also.
What about shipping? We have some of the best rates and discounts in the USA due to our tremendous volume. We are able to reach all of the US and Canada very reasonably. If you have your own freight partners and want to use your account - this is better yet. We do not mark up shipping.
That's great, but who are you? We are a Wisconsin Company ... Spirit Implements, LLC. and this excess capacity is part of our new custom products division. All product is priced FOB Waupaca, 54981.
How do I pay? After you send us a drawing to price for you, come to EBay and finish the auction process. We will then get your parts rolling for you. You pay via wire transfer (instructions sent upon completion of auction) or by certified check to our address which we will also provide for you. After a relationship is developed, billing terms and credit may be establised. Paypal payments are charged 2.5% extra for processing fees.
How Exactly does pricing work? You do not pay by the hole, inch of cutting, or complexity of the part. You pay by the pound for the nest - which means, that if you have a part that is 12in x 12in on the outside ... this is what you pay for. The sheet weight of the 12in x 12in square. Easy to figure out, and in some instances only 20 percent of what other laser shops are charging.
The price is great but how quickly can I get my parts? With our automated system, we can typically begin cutting within 24 hours of the order or on the day of the order for SAME DAY or NEXT DAY Shipping! If you are looking for a one off that will take up a small area - we may wait up to a few days until the material is run for another customer to cut your part. The picture in the ad is the actual equipment in our shop.
Are there any exclusions? If you have parts cut out of thin sheet metal that a hundred parts would be a couple of pounds - we will quote using our software and still will beat what you are currently paying.
